David Tveite

David Tveite (pronounced like “whitey” with a ‘t’ in front of it) is a tall, perpetually embarrassed Caucasian fellow with scissory elbows, gorgeous brown eyes and a brain the never, ever shuts up. David began his comedy career in Seattle and quickly established himself as one of the funniest young comics in the northwest. He has since lived and performed both in his native Minneapolis and in Washington, D.C., where he currently resides.

David has been a featured performer at Seattle’s Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival and Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and in 2011 he reached the semifinals of the 32nd annual Seattle International Comedy Competition. Combining acerbic delivery with smart, self-deprecating material, David’s comedy has been described as “dark, bitter and almost annoyingly intelligent.” He’s pretty sure that was meant as a compliment.
