Janet Varney – or “Janet,” as she’s known by people who call her by her first name – works as an actor, writer, and producer in Los Angeles. She has most recently appeared on such shows as “Bones,” “Better Off Ted,” “How I Met Your Mother,” and has recurred on HBO’s “Entourage.” She’s also in her sixth year as host of TBS’s “Dinner and a Movie.” She performs live improv with Theme Park and can be seen online alongside Randy and Jason Sklar in both seasons of the popular webseries “Back on Topps.” She also writes and records for “Mystery Science Theatre 3000″ alum Michael J. Nelson at Rifftrax.com.

Janet is co-founder and co-director of SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival, and she had her tonsils removed when she was seven.
