Jimmy Newstetter

Jimmy is the self-described “Casper the Friendly Ghost” of comedy. You
don’t really hear or see him too often, but you know he’s out there
doing good things.

In a touch over four years performing in Portland, OR, it’s hard to
think of something wonderfully stupid this performer hasn’t tried
onstage for laughs.

His love of absurd, experimental humor have led to impromptu baptisms
in water coolers, movie scene reenactments, multiple comedy duos,
celebrity jingles, & plenty of staged ineptitude. His greatest asset
though is his versatility, as he continues to take more risks both as
a storyteller & as an utter goofball.

His dedication to the bottom line (laughter) has also afforded him the
opportunity to perform at unique shows and work with a variety of
esteemed colleagues. Some of which include The Portland Art Museum
Shine A Light 2011, Comedy Is OK, Funny Over Everything w/ Moshe
Kasher & Hannibal Buress, No Pun Intendo w/ Brent Weinbach, Comedy &
Stuff w/ Ron Lynch, Comedy For Breakfast? w/ Kyle Kinane, & Bridgetown
2012 Hawthorne Theater w/ Maria Bamford.

In the future, Jimmy looks forward to torturing himself for honest,
original comedy that will have friends questioning his methods &
audiences laughing hysterically.
